Express Eventing is a radical new compact version of the sport of eventing, designed for arenas and stadiums around the world. It condenses all the excitement and drama of traditional three day eventing into just 1/2 a day, with dressage, show jumping and cross-phases visible from one seat!! It is spectacular - exciting and fast moving.
– Featuring the Top 19 riders in the world.
– The event will start with each rider performing a four minute freestyle dressage routine to music where horse and rider will be judged on degree of difficulty and artistic interpretation.
– In reverse order of merit, with best starting last, competitors will then enter a combined jumping stage to complete a series of jumps against the clock.
–Following a pit stop tack change for rider and horse, competitors – who will not be allowed to wear watches will tackle the cross country course, the best starting last.
– Winner takes £100,000 prize, the biggest prize on offer in world eventing, with £150,000 shared among the rest depending on where they come.
